Santa Monica, CA
DescriptionBRANDED ARTS is now seeking interns to join our organization. We are seeking artistic, organized, initiative-taking individuals who are interested in gaining experience in the Los Angeles art community.
ABOUT BRANDED ARTS:
BRANDED ARTS offers a full spectrum of artistic services for communities and corporate settings alike. With years of experience as curators and consultants, we will find the perfect artwork to enhance your professional space. Whether it’s signature murals, sculptures, paintings, or hundreds of pieces for a full-scale development, we will take care of every detail from the concepts to the artwork installation. The Branded Arts staff is multi-talented, with backgrounds in architecture, design, gallery planning and production. We can also offer full video coverage options, creating and producing professional content, time-lapse documentation, and social media exposure for each project.
Branded Arts curates art exhibition openings by featuring some of the most prolific artists of our time alongside never before seen work from some of LA’s rising stars. Branded Arts stages art-driven events that fuse visual art with music, fashion and entertainment, creating a platform that showcases emerging talent from around the world. Branded Arts’ eclectic lineup of performers have included Nick Cannon, Macy Gray, Talib Kweli, DJs Samantha Ronson and Biz Markie, to name a few.
Over the last 5 years, Branded Arts has produced and curated several large-scale art exhibitions along with over 100 public mural projects around Los Angeles. The “Branded Arts Building” at 8810 Washington Blvd. in Culver City is our most renowned project, which had the recent honor of being written up in the LA Times:
Branded Arts recently completed group of mural projects was at THE RESERVE LA, the new 20 acre creative campus in Playa Vista, home to the new offices of Microsoft, Sony PlayStation, and TMZ. The Reserve won the 2014 Best Office Project Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Going forward, our company’s aim is to commission famous artists to paint public murals at local properties, developments, youth centers, and schools. The goal is to send an inspirational message with these art projects, to give people a creative outlet, and to always display positive imagery. With public school budget cutbacks significantly impacting art programs around the country, we feel that it is up to independent organizations like Branded Arts to help facilitate and introduce art to young people.
