DescriptionInspire San Diego Studio is a start-up business offering Social Art Making classes at local restaurants around San Diego. Our classes are 3 hours long and we provide all materials. Our target market are those who are art curious, meaning beginners who have a passion to learn art but don't want the expense or time constraints of investing is supplies and art schools. We are now seeking interns for a variety of projects related to art, marketing, and operations.

7-8 hours per week
Inspire San Diego Studio is looking for responsible art students to help facilitate social art making workshops as well as promote the business around town to gain sign-ups. Workshops are held at restaurants, parks, and hotels from La Mesa, to San Diego, to Carlsbad.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Facilitate one class per week.
Arrive at location 1 hour prior to meet instructor for set up
Check in attendees
Introduce instructor to class
Assist instructor during 3 hour class
Pack up supplies
Also spend 2-3 hours per week visiting local businesses with promotional materials and calendars to promote business. Each intern will be given certain neighborhoods to focus on that are close to their home.
A distribution list will be created for each drop off location in order to continually provide class calendars and build relationships with business owners/managers.
Other projects will also be available but optional depending on interns interest such as: planning out after school programs, writing proposals to schools, SEO optimization of website, and social media
RequirementsMust be a current fine arts major or minor
Must be personable and sociable in order to speak to large groups and businesses while promoting
Reliable transportation is required
Asking for a 3-6 month commitment but flexible depending on class credit requirements
