The Heritage Arts Festival of Underground Atlanta has provided an interesting and culturally enhancing arts experience for the last 14 years. We are currently preparing for the 2013 festival: Heritage Cultural Arts Festival: The Remix, scheduled to Be executed from July 11th - July 14th, once again bringing the top talent in the world of Arts and Entertainment to the Underground for an exciting 4 days of activities, including a film festival, DJ showcase, Art Gallery, and Performance Art displays. We are currently seeking a team of qualified interns in the area of Marketing/PR and Event Planning to assist in making this scaled up event a success.


-Creating content for social media channels including Twitter and Facebook
- Measuring impact of and engagement with Heritage Cultural Arts Festival social media campaigns
- Daily media monitoring of industry and competitor news and activity of key media contacts
-Working directly with Account Managers, Account Executives and clients directly to provide support with client needs
-Effectively communicate with internal teams (sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of commitments
-Build, traffic, and schedule advertising creative
-Proactively monitor, analyze and optimize all online advertising performance from creating insertion order to post completion
-Provide troubleshooting assistance for creative and operations-related issues for all campaigns
-Utilizing Y! proprietary tools/systems for creating proposals
-Supporting team in day-to-day tasks and special ad hoc projects
-Processing RFP’s & lead strategic projects for vertical ad operations team
-Delegating tasks to internal operations teams and overseeing process through to completion
-Creating Potential Sponsor data base and communicating with prospect through close


- Active social media user and experience implementing and measuring social media campaigns
- Very strong written and verbal communications skills
- Driven, dedicated individual
- Work experience in marketing, tech or digital media
- Creative thinker and fast learner with the ability to work independently
