The USLACC Film & Arts Director is actively seeking an intern with professionalism, energy, personality and dedication to assist with marketing, web, PR and office duties. The United States Latino Chamber of Commerce Film & Arts Division's primary responsibilities are creating strategic business partnerships, creating and organizing networking events, festivals, and other opportunities for the purpose of community awareness, education and retraining, raising funds, sponsorship & awareness of the USLACC & its Educational institute as a whole.


Assist our team with coordinating upcoming events
Identify and pursue new ways to market and grow organization
Execute various communications and outreach as necessary
Create and manage fundraiser and sponsorship email campaign.
Help with various internal/external communication tasks;
Working with social media networks such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- Includes daily monitoring, posting, content development, and initiating and engaging in conversation with followers and fans
Coordinate and implement social media marketing communication projects and prepare reports on efforts and success rates
Attend some events to build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and partners
General data entry and office tasks
Graphics knowledge a huge plus

Approx: 15+ hours per week. Days and hours are flexible. So things done remotely.
Open to college students, graduate and others
Non paid internship for hands-on experience and college credit only.
All interns will be given school credit, all apprentices will be given a letter of recommendation upon completion of 60-90 commitment.
Serious potential to work into paid long term position.


Strong interest in helping serve and working with community
Sense of urgency and quick learner
Excellent oral and written communication skills, pleasant phone manner
Ambitious and dependable self-starter
Ability to take directions well but also ability to work independently
Thinking outside the box -- has drive and takes initiative
Passion for and strong knowledge of social media
Basic proficiency in layout and design
Experience in event organization, planning, and marketing a strong plus!
Capable of working some weekends
Photoshop skills (A PLUS)
Must own laptop
