The Foundation for a Green Future, Inc. is a multicultural 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities to neighborhoods and communities to build an environmentally-friendly world by bringing nature into our urban spaces and our lives.

Foundation for a Green Future is looking for an intern who will help recruit Exhibitors for Boston GreenFest in August of 2017. The Exhibitors and businesses are a crucial part of Boston GreenFest. The internship will be unpaid but may be counted towards class credit.

Boston Greenfest is the region's largest multicultural environmental music festival that will be on August 11th-13th. Our goal is to inform EVERYONE as to the many ways green living can make a positive impact on our world, city, neighborhoods and each of us. Boston GreenFest showcases innovation, green businesses, eco-art, nonprofits, and more. You can learn more about Boston GreenFest on our webpage at:


Research artists who are eco-conscious in their art or who design their art around the environment
Connect with those artists to try to get them to our events
Reach out to Mass Art, Emerson, and Berklee college of music to see if any students would like to showcase their art
Help coordinate art installations
Help plan and contribute to a mural to be displayed at Boston GreenFest


Someone who is interested in art and art studies
Strong verbal and communication skills
Able to use the internet to conduct research
Familiar with google drive
Dedicated and passionate about the environment

Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience with google drive
Organized and able to multi-task
Dedicated and passionate about the environment
