If you want to learn the ins and outs of a design/framing studio, then this is the ideal internship for you.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team player with great attention to detail who loves working in a creative environment and has a feeling/ background for/in art and furniture design. Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency are a must.
You must be available at least two days a week.

voila! is a design studio/ gallery nestled in the Los Angeles design district on La Brea and Melrose Avenue. Founded in 2008, voila! studio has taken a unique approach to interior design by envisioning design as an art project. voila! specializes in custom furniture and lighting design, conceptual art collection and full scale interior redesign projects. voila! has worked directly on the designs of Soho House LA, Hotel Jerome luxury resort in Aspen, the redesign of Château Gütsch in collaboration with Martyn Lawrence Bullard and has many more ongoing projects.

The studio’s current 5000 square foot location in West Hollywood acts as a showroom and creative environment for the conceptualization and realization of our projects. The space is used to host project meetings, exhibitions, fundraisers, parties, wedding receptions, live music and much more.

voila! framing studio also provides full service museum quality framing and hanging services. voila! has built a solid clientele of designers, luxury brands, boutique hotels, restaurants, bars and provides hanging and framing services for exhibitors such as Taschen Los Angeles.

Beginning 2014, voila! partnered with and redesigned The LA Lyric Theatre next door. The redesign of the space officially established the studio as an event hosting space as well as a concert venue, making the brand's single focus an all encompassing occasion. voila! is not just a store, but a creative environment that is about enjoying life's passions, whether that be through art, design, music or entertainment.


-Project budgetting
-Contact with vendors/ clients
-Store display
-Brand identity management
-Assist with marketing campaigns
-Assist with organizing exhibitions (eg. Paris Photo LA 2015 and Photo Shanghai 2015)
-Help with promoting exhibitions
-Assist with event management and planning
-Drive sales of art/ furniture/ custom projects and creations online and in store


-Proficient in Adobe Photoshop (and the Adobe Creative Suite)
-Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with high end clients
-Strong organizational skills and time management
-Strength in using excel
-Self starter and self motivated
-Ability to work closely with other team members on event planning, art curation, gallery administration and management
-Fast learner (ability to retain knowledge about art, art products, design products, products in store)
-Ability to direct others and take responsibility
-Strong in hands on work such as working with the team in framing artworks for private high end clients
-Interest in the art world
