Description

Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), the world’s largest global network of dance based in New York City, is accepting applications for Interns for Summer/Fall 2016. YAGP supports and develops world-class dancers ages 9 to 19 of all backgrounds by providing scholarship auditions and educational and performance opportunities in cities around the world.

YAGP’s Summer/Fall Internship Program requires a commitment of 3 days each week, with the possibility of flexible scheduling. Interns work closely with YAGP staff and leadership as part of a small, dynamic team, receiving hands-on administrative training at a fast-paced, growing performing arts non-profit organization. Internships at YAGP are unpaid and may include some evening and weekend work.

YAGP interns enjoy gaining experience beyond clerical work that allows them to contribute to specific organizational projects that offer candidates first-hand insight into the non-profit and dance communities. YAGP internships include projects in Fundraising and Development, Programming, and Social Media and YAGP prides itself on formatting internships to the skill set and interests of individual candidates.
