DescriptionGallery Assistant Position
Full time and part time intern positions available.
CVC is currently accepting applications for bright motivated individuals who are responsible and have backgrounds in art or art history.
The position involves contributing to the process of planning, marketing and installation of exhibitions, and programs of a long established community based non-profit gallery and visual arts organization. Our exhibitions and programs have received substantial media coverage from the Miami Herald, Miami New Times and Huffington Post. Notable exhibitions have included Retrospectives by Robert Rauschenberg, Clarence John Laughlin and Miami master Darby Bannard who was recruited to lead the painting dept at UM after a stellar career in New York. Our newest projects are the Bunny Yeager Studio, the photo instruction program at Biscayne Nature Center, documenting the new Frost Science Museum and a life size re-creation of the now closed Pear Paint art supply store.
