Description

Beyond The Lines is a group pop up art show that takes place in different areas of LA every 2-4 months. We have over 100 artists participate submitting a wide variety of pieces. There are also vendors who make handmade goods, live music throughout the night and a comedy show. The shows are two nights Friday and Saturday. The prep for these shows huge because we have to gather all the participating artists, vendors and entertainment before hand and advertise it well on all the different social media platforms such as Facebook, instagram, twitter and a youtube page. This pop up show is suppose to have a fun feel but also have a gallery vibe and bring in a handful of buyers. The week of the show is a very busy week. There is art drop off where all the artists come with their pieces and need to fill forms out and always have many questions then installation takes a few days working long hours to get everything up properly. Then the actual show days keeping everything running smoothly. Then the deinstallation and artist pick up on Sunday.
