DescriptionUNDER THE VIADUCT is an art & lifestyle series produced by the West Harlem Art Fund, where folks can meet, bike, skate or dine in an open-air plaza. Situated in West Harlem on 12th Avenue and near the Hudson River, residents and fellow New Yorkers can enjoy passive recreation in the daytime and when the sun starts going down, engage in dance, digital and reflective art.
The West Harlem Art Fund, Inc. is an eighteen year old, public arts organization. WHAF offers exhibition opportunities for artists and creative professionals wishing to share their talent with art lovers uptown and around the city. The West Harlem Art Fund, Inc. showcases art and culture in open, public spaces to add aesthetic interest to our city; promote historical and cultural heritage; link collectors to a range of new provocative works and antiquities.
The West Harlem Art Fund serves as a leader in bringing the art community’s most influential players to the public in thought provoking dialogues.
ResponsibilitiesManage coordination of art & lifestyle interventions for this event series that begins July 16th, September 10th and October 1st. Help with set up, event participants and interventions under the 12th Avenue viaduct and in West Harlem Piers Park.
