DescriptionMusée Magazine is a visually driven global art and culture publication that boasts an ever-growing archive of over 400 artist interviews and the work of over 400 established and emerging artists. This continual archive provides a venue and resource where photographers and photography enthusiasts alike are able to engage in artistic discourse and familiarize themselves with the contemporary state of photography while also broadening the photography community. Musée has featured works and interviews of established artists such as John Waters, Cindy Sherman, Catherine Opie, Marina Abramovic, Thomas Struth, Marilyn Minter, and many more. Musée has also featured profiles on industry insiders such as Gerhard Steidl, Anne Pasternak, Kathy Ryan, among several others. Musée is the brainchild of noted fashion and art photographer Andrea Blanch.
ResponsibilitiesVideographers will work closely with the Editorial, Marketing and Graphic Design departments to ensure brand cohesiveness for the magazines online presence. Interns will make small videos for social media and the Musée website. This includes formulating new video series ideas, such as videos of artist's studios and interviews.
This is an unpaid internship, but school credit may be available and this internship program requires a commitment of two to three days a week for three-months (12 Weeks). If interested, please submit a small paragraph noting why you'll be a great fit for Musée and provide your resume.
RequirementsRequired to have your own video equipment and editing programs, including sound editing.
