DescriptionWe are currently searching for a Data Management Specialist to join our DATA Services team! Our DATA Services team is responsible for ensuring D* ata *A vailability, T* imeliness and *A ccuracy for our customers. We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates great communication skills, a keen analytical approach, and technical knowledge with a passion for service. This position is critical to ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service related to consistent, reliable, accurate, and timely data delivery. Not only will the candidate learn new software, but new technical skill sets as well.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all Customer records are in compliance with customer policy.
Ensure that all duplicate Customer records are handled accordingly.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to Customers for missing information.
Other duties as applicable.
Scan and attach customer pricing documents if applicable.
Answering incoming phone calls Routed to the data management department.
Enter data after completing quality assurance verification to ensure authenticity and accuracy of data request.
Entering data within the data standards set forth by Medical Services Company and the Director of Financial Controls.
Completing all job responsibilities in a timely efficient manner on a day to day basis.
Completing all requests assigned to them within 24 hours or less (to receive additional or initially unattainable verification a 48 hour window will be granted on a case by case basis, prior permission by the Director is required).
To report any issue to the Director of any deviation of Data Standards or anything that would affect Data Integrity.
Keep log of productivity and requests completed archived on a daily basis for future review
Review data audit reports and correct data as needed
Training team members within the Data Management department
RequirementsA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Technical Support, or similar field
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
Strong computer operating skills and high comfort level with various Microsoft Windows Environments (specifically Server 2003/2008, XP, and 7)
Working Knowledge of networks, database structure.
Must be detail oriented, accurately track customer activities, and have the ability to handle confidential client information
A minimum of one year of experience in Microsoft SQL is preferred
Excellent customer service, communication, telephone, and writing skills are a MUST
Ability to prioritize, manage time, and adapt to change are a MUST
Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way
Establish, measure and effectively evaluate processes, policies and procedures
Hospitality experience is a plus
