Description

Our customers rely on us to provide quality service, technical support and replacement parts for CT Medical Equipment. Our engineers are primarily responsible for supporting the quality assurance and inventory management team by testing, repairing and evaluating CT & other imaging equipment such as MR, Xray and RF. We are seeking an intern who desires to grow in the electrical engineering or bio-medical engineering field.

Responsibilities

Intern will be asked to support the Quality Assurance team in the following areas of inventory, quality assurance and warehouse operations.

•Assists inventory team with parts identification and technical support related to parts and system sales.
•Assist quality assurance team with installing and de-installing equipment.
•System part down processes
•Validation and inspection of CT imaging equipment.
•Responsible for assisting with planned maintenance inspections, calibrations and testing and repairs of equipment.
•Required to install, troubleshoot and repair equipment with support of the quality assurance team.
•Responsible for testing incoming parts including customer returns, warranty failures and purchased equipment.
•Responsible for ensuring all evaluation documentation is complete, accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
•Support inventory and warehouse teams as required.

Requirements

•Intern should currently be seeking a degree or certificate in the field of electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or bio-medical engineering.
•Basic Microsoft Office skills required
•Complex computer skills with the ability to interpret error codes, complete software reloads and run proper system tests as required
•Understanding of simple networking in relation to maintaining and testing imaging equipment.
•Self-starter, ability to self-manage, prioritize and follow through on all tasks with minor supervision.
•Strong written and verbal skills
•Positive attitude and team player

ABILITIES
•Frequently required to reach, pull, and/or employ fine motor skills during parts installation, system in/de-installs, service and maintain equipment.
•Frequently required to operate tools and machinery when servicing and moving equipment.
•Position requires the ability to reach, bend, kneel, and maneuver body while servicing equipment
•Frequently required to lift, carry or move materials in an excess of 50+lbs
•Valid driver’s license required
