DescriptionYou will work directly with a team consisting of primary investigator and developer of new type of imaging technology with a new application. This invention alone will revolutionize health care delivery. You will help to create and prototype a medical capable imaging system for research and clinical application. You will also work with a data scientist, a neuroscientist, and a hardware designer. With these resources and some industry collaboration, we expect to have a prototype device by three to six months. Due to our location, we have liasons with various high tech companies that are the foundation of modern information technology. For the right applicant, arrangements can be made to provide low cost housing in Silicon Valley.
ResponsibilitiesBe able to work on projects and within deadlines. Hours are full time. Daily work on project. 2-3 hours clinical observation per day. 2-3 hours testing and development. Work hours are flexible.
RequirementsInterest in medicine, biotechnology, bioengineering and digital health. Pre-med's welcome!
Bachelors or Masters level work in biological science, engineering, hardware design, chemistry.
Prior experience and understanding of photography and digital imaging.
Be a bit of a hacker.
