DescriptionAre you passionate about empowering women to make healthy choices? Excited about environmental sustainability? GladRags determines the scope of each internship based on the intern’s individual skills, interests, and experience as well as GladRags’ own strategic initiatives.
Interns have the opportunity to work closely with the GladRags team and observe the inner workings of this unique company. We’re proud to help create tomorrow’s leaders by offering a highly educational experience tailored to each intern’s unique goals.
Since 1993, GladRags has empowered women to choose safe, healthy menstrual products. Made to last for years, washable cloth pads and menstrual cups keep billions of disposable pads and tampons out of the landfill. GladRags began as a home-based business that quickly outgrew the extra bedroom and became a nationally recognized brand. Today, GladRags is still a small company but with a big presence, promoting positive attitudes toward menstruation and making the environment a safer, cleaner place. GladRags products can be found in health foods stores and natural pharmacies nationwide, and are sold on www.gladrags.com to women all over the world. GladRags is proud to be a certified Benefit Corporation, a new type of company which uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. GladRags is located in the Central Eastside district of Portland, Oregon.
Our mission is to provide high quality sustainable menstrual products and empower women by positively transforming the experience of menstruation.
