ff Venture Capital (, an early-stage venture capital fund based in midtown Manhattan (with tertiary office in Roseland, NJ), is seeking interns. This is an ideal project for a current or recent graduate student (MBA, JD, etc.) who is interested in learning more about venture capital, entrepreneurship, and internet businesses. We are looking primary for graduate students who can work full-time, but we will consider part time interns who can commit to at least a minimum 30 in office hours/week. Your hours are flexible.

You will have ownership of your own projects and manage these projects from start to finish during the course of your internship.

+ Hours/work location: 37th and 6th. Flexible work hours, but typically 9-6.
+ Interact and learn from venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and others.
+ Learn about social media and the other industries in which we invest.
+ Get to know the New York startup community.
+ Class credit (if you have a professor who approves your participation, and/or if you can recycle this work for a class)
+ Significant creative input and flexibility.
+ Very positive references (if merited).
+ Our principals have a strong track record of helping past interns win full-time roles at top firms, including in the past McKinsey, JP Morgan, Lazard, and UBS, as well as of course many startups.

+ Due diligence of potential investments
+ Business model research
+ Business development for software tools we are building in-house; product management
+ Industry trend analysis
+ Other strategic initiatives


+ You must have a graduate degree or be currently enrolled in a graduate program. We are primarily interested in MBAs but welcome resumes from other disciplines (JD, computer science, etc.).
+ Passion about our vision of building the leading institutional investor in early-stage startups.
+ Highly motivated self-starter who has a track record of continuous self-improvement, high achievement, and aggressiveness.
+ Strong analytical skills. High attention to detail.
+ Strong writing experience. Particularly value a high GPA in writing-dependent courses.
+ Familiarity with major online networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
+ GPA over 3.5
+ sign of significant success in at least one discipline, no matter what that is, e.g., won a chess championship; captained a varsity sport

We also value:
+ Belief in the Edward Tufte school of communication.
+ Strong verbal communication/sales skills. Experience in debate, public speaking, and theatre is helpful.
+ Familiarity with startup environment
