Nomad Pass is an early stage startup with the mission of enabling people to live, work and travel from anywhere around the world. We believe millennials are reshaping the economy and re-writing the future of travel, and no longer need stationary 9-5 jobs. As the global sharing economy expands, the job market changes, and access to technology increases, we see the rise in digital nomads and location independent workers. As major cities around the globe start to offer similar amenities, people are starting to realize they don't need to stay in one place. They can build their career remotely and succeed from the road.

The gig: Nomad Pass is seeking a Business Development Intern responsible for developing strategic partnerships with local and international service providers in the travel industry and will be working directly with the founding team on this exciting project. This opportunity has the potential of turning into a full-time paid position.


In this role, you will be involved with the founders in:

➢ Contacting, engaging and closing deals with partners and service providers (referrals, discounts, sponsorship)
➢ Building a strong list of partners who will be instrumental to the project’s development
➢ Building a strong list of service providers, both local and international in the travel industry who will give discounts to our members
➢ Building a solid advisory board team of experts in the industry
➢ Contributing to the business development strategy throughout various countries in creative ways
➢ Attending current local events with partners
➢ Recruiting potential country ambassadors around the world to organize meetups

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and comfortable with getting his/her hands dirty in the work of launching a startup—we need someone who is proactive, autonomous and hungry to learn and grow.

Requirements include but are not limited to:
➢ Excellent communication skills and natural networker who enjoys working with a variety of people and has the ability to inspire others
➢ Strong interpersonal skills and good multi-tasker
➢ Proven previous business development experience
➢ Experience in building and managing strategic partnerships
➢ Experience in sales/negotiation and closing deals
➢ Familiarity with business development strategies a plus
➢ Good organization skills and ability to succeed under pressure/time constraints
➢ Have a deep passion for travelling and entrepreneurship
➢ Interest/ Experience in the Travel Industry
➢ Business degree is preferable
➢ Full-time internship preferred but flexible on part-time and remote work
