DescriptionCampusTap is the first social career management platform for colleges and universities. Based on your major and minor, personal interests, skills and desired industries, the platform recommends: peers, groups, events, internships, jobs and alumni mentors that will help you jumpstart your career. CampusTap was a 2014 MassChallenge finalist, 2015 Constant Contact SMB InnoLoft finalist and a 2015 Bostinno 50onFire finalist. The platform is currently in use at schools such as MIT, Bentley, Wheaton, Skidmore and Santa Monica College and we are looking for a motivated and competitive BDR to help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities-Become a "product expert" in our industry, understand the issues, new developments, trends, best practices, and competitive landscape
-Develop a thorough understanding of the Career Services and Alumni Relations landscape and the needs of administrators within these fields
-Acquire a working knowledge of the CampusTap platform and communicate unique value propositions to prospects
-Work with Business Development Manager to help identify qualified prospects, convert into leads and coordinate webinars
-Conduct high volume prospecting by phone, email and in-person methods
-Design and refine business processes around targeting, outreach and sales in order to reach decision-makers quickly and effectively
-Track time, effort, and other resources spent in the sales/business development process in order to clarify customer acquisition cost
-Log all BDR activities within the CRM
Requirements-Excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable)
-High-level of attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
-A highly competitive nature, but professional attitude and the ability to work within a team
-The ability to follow directions but also think on your feet
-The ability to overcome objections and reverse rejections
-The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
-Process-oriented with the ability to create and follow your own structure
-Work independently, but exercise judgment for when and how to engage managers in troubleshooting and guidance
-2+ years of sales experience
