DescriptionGovernment Sales Specialists is a public sector-focused sales and business development firm at the intersection of the tech industry and the federal government. Our unique position results in a very candid dialogue with our government partners that most other organizations simply don’t have access to.
GSS wants our interns to learn and grow as a result of their time with us. There is always plenty of work to go around and we try to match duties with our interns’ career goals and interests whenever possible. We’re looking for interns to support functions from business administration to marketing to accounting.

Responsibilities- Conduct research on potential clients and customers
- Assist in identifying potential business opportunities, both in the public sector and commercial space
- Monitor digital news outlets and alert staff to important developments
Requirements- Ability to complete tasks quickly and accurately
- Comfort communicating at all levels of the organization by phone, email and face to face
- General computer literacy, as well as general comfort with common programs like MS Office
- An interest in learning about the nuts and bolts of a sales organization
