DescriptionmyKlick is an innovative technical platform that allows uniformed service members and business communities to openly support each other in a truly meaningful way. myKlick connects business and the uniformed service community of military members and their families by making resources easily accessible. myKlick brings visibility to businesses and companies wanting to support these communities through an enhanced and searchable listing mechanism that brands them as trusted and patriotic businesses.
Position: Business Relations Associate
In addition to receiving high-level skills and experience that will forward your career goals and immediately increase your prospects for higher-paying, more rewarding jobs, you will also receive mentoring on your résumé and professional goals. You will work directly with the team supervisor. You will also have frequent input and communications with the Founder of Klick and get the inside, behind-the-scenes view of a virtual company. Successful interns will receive a top-notch letter of recommendation and referrals to important business and employment contacts. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit.
Location: San Antonio, Texas
This is an unpaid internship, but the experience is priceless!
ResponsibilitiesWorking at Klick, you will be on a team, which may be responsible for, but are not limited to the following:
Develop a rapport with members business and military communities, and set targets for contacts and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. Learn to grow and retain existing relationships by presenting solutions and action plans. At times Business Relations Associates will work senior level management, marketing, and technical staff. He/she may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since its impotent to develop awareness of Klick to the city of San Antonio. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the local organizations (this will be taught).
This is a learning environment; we don't expect you to know everything! The Business Relations Team is a collaborative one where you will have the chance to learn, teach, and discover the best practices together. Applicants with prior educational and/or work experience in business writing are preferred, but WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and willing to learn. If you want to be a social media expert someday, this internship will give you that experience!

Skills and abilities:
Previous speaking, networking, social skills or experience is desired. Organized, detail-oriented, dependable, excellent verbal and written communication skills; adaptable to changes in projects and priorities, proficiency with email, the Internet, MS Office, and learning user-friendly software; able to multi-task and work independently; punctual, and able to attend in person/Skype meetings once or twice a week (we will work with your schedule), as well as be able to attend 5 Klick Team Meetings.

Immediately! Approximately 10 hours a week for 20 weeks; we are flexible and your internship is negotiable. We will work with you.
