DescriptionThe Bazaar (www.bazaaa.com), is the sister ecommerce organization associated with The Asian Entrepreneur, a digital magazine. Our goal it to provide global exposure to entrepreneurs located in Asia. As such, the magazine interviews and publishes the journeys, successes, and even failures of interested entrepreneurs and the associated bazaar sells their products. However, we are not the typical ecommerce website. We DO NOT function as a one-stop shop. Our unique selling proposition leverages the stories of the entrepreneurs to sell the product. We are currently in an expansion phase and looking to partner with interns to create a win-win situation and take the bazaar to the next level of success.
Reporting to the Co-Founder and Operations Head, the Business Research Coordinator is responsible for conducting internet searches to find entrepreneurs in Asia that manufacture and/or sell products that we can list on our ecommerce website. On a weekly basis, the Business Research Coordinator should compile a list of approximately 15 entrepreneurs/companies that the marketing department can reach out to.
