Description

The S.O.C. is a software platform that helps universities connect their students to the most relevant experiential learning opportunities such as conferences, publications, internships & scholarships. The S.O.C. was launched Fall 2014 and currently serves 65 Universities around the country including Clemson University, University of Louisiana, and Florida State University.

We are currently seeking a part-time (10-15 hours/week) Content Management intern to help manage and improve our web-presence and the quality of the content in our event/opportunity database.

$10.50/hour + commission (10%)

Responsibilities

-Updating database content (i.e. updating old events, old internship listings, etc.)
-Documenting/analyzing content for database (i.e. is this internship relevant to students)
-Social Media presence/marketing
-Team brainstorming groups (i.e. what kinds of academic events do students go to?)

Requirements

-Proficient in English Language and Grammar
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
-Experience with Social Media platforms and content generation
-Passion for entrepreneurship and startups a plus!
