DescriptionAs we continue to focus efforts on the e-Commerce side of the business, we are finding our growth can be accelerated when we can execute two things: 1) frequent new product offerings 2) including accurate and aesthetically pleasing content and details that go along with them.
After (stubbornly) splitting up this role among multiple parties for years, we are finally ready to have a dedicated e-Commerce specialist to help us take over our industry!
In short, the position would entail seeing that these products make it to parties as big as Amazon.com, but also as small as the set of iPads used in our warehouse to double check that correct items are being shipped.
This is a data entry position at the core, but with it comes lots of decision making, the opportunity to help us streamline processes, and the satisfaction of working with a wide range of people, companies, and tools.
While an interest in home décor isn’t required, it is a positive, as you will eventually eat/drink/sleep decorative wall art. But what is required:
¥ Solid foundation (and appreciate) of MS Excel including formulas and functions
¥ High level of attention to detail
¥ Impeccably organized
¥ Strong vocabulary (for product titles) and writing skills
¥ Ability to multi-task
The most important skill we require for this position (beyond strong MS Excel skills) is an uncanny sense of intuition that will allow you to decipher how to proceed when something is in question. We are looking for the type of person who is quick to Google something under the table while the rest of the people in the room are wasting their time wondering the answer. (*unless you are @ Trivia Night*)
Any experience in this field is great, and the job would 30-40 hours a week. We envision the position can be done remotely a lot of the time, but certainly in the beginning we would like the person to be at our office/factory to better understand our products and inner-workings.
Pay will range depending on experience. We are a small company, but have a lot going on. It is a laid back environment and the two owners are very involved. To get a better feel of what we do, please check out our website/LinkedIn/Instagram/items for sale online etc...(which you would have naturally done anyways...)
