DescriptionAbout HOPE Internship Program
With over 200+ participants to date, the Operation HOPE, Inc. (HOPE) Fellows, Interns and Loaned Executive (FILE) Program offers exceptional young men and women the opportunity to acquire skills and build vital social networks that will enhance their career paths and effectiveness as future leaders
The HOPE Youth Empowerment Group Administrative Intern will provide support to the Youth Empowerment Group Program Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in entrepreneurial training, student engagement, and gain an understanding teaching a curriculum in an educational environment. Intern will work 10-15 hours per work. This position is unpaid, but college credit is available, when applicable.
Responsibilities•Ability to clearly communicate the mission, objectives and programs of Operation HOPE
•Support the Youth Empowerment Program Manager with administrative duties and outreach.
•Manage school sites regarding scheduling for classes.
EXPERIENCE & CORE COMPETENCIES:
•Multitask Oriented and Organized – The right candidate has the ability to begin, manage and complete several projects and program relationships at one time and keep in communication with the Youth Empowerment Group Program Manager.
•Computer literacy a must: minimum proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Professional appearance –candidate must maintain a business professional appearance at all times.
