Foundation for a Green Future is looking for an intern who will help recruit Innovators for Boston GreenFest in August of 2017. The Innovators and businesses are a crucial part of Boston GreenFest. The internship will be unpaid but may be counted towards class credit.
Boston GreenFest is the region's largest multicultural environmental music festival that will be on August 11th-13th. Our goal is to inform EVERYONE as to the many ways green living can make a positive impact on our world, city, neighborhoods and each of us. ResponsibilitiesDoing online research on environmentally conscious innovators and startups;
Research new environmental engineering techniques, new sustainable innovations, etc.
Organizing a contact list of these potential innovators
Contacting these companies by phone and recruiting them to have a table at Boston GreenFest.
Staying in contact with these companies to make sure they sign up via eventbrite and have paid the fees.
RequirementsInterested in communications, marketing, or recruitment
Interested in environmental engineering, environmental science, or physics.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience with google drive
Organized and able to multi-task
Dedicated and passionate about the environment
