Safi Gourmet Food Company's mission is to find the highest quality ingredients from around the world and make them accessible to chefs and culinary enthusiasts through the most sustainable means. Whether you call it farm to plate, farm to table or farm to fork, we believe that each individual has the right to trace everything they put in their body back to the source. Safi aims to make it possible for each chef to show his or her patrons exactly what is in their food and where it was produced. For this reason, we trek the globe seeking the tastiest gourmet flavors produced by traceable, sustainable farmers.

Responsibilities

Managing accounts
Seeking new accounts
Attending/presenting to clients
Food tasting
Selecting and developing new products
Following up with chefs and retailers
Research on restaurant and food trends
Assisting in social media campaigns

Requirements

Safi Gourmet is looking for motivated individuals who want to work with ethically sourced foods and learn about international business and logistics while also getting hands on experience of growing a company.

Ideal candidates possess the following:
Curiosity.
Personable and comfortable with speaking to strangers.
Energetic and excited about natural food, and helping to build brands.
Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
Comfortable with excel spreadsheets.
Phone communication skills.
