DescriptionThis internship will focus specifically on our client LifeSpan medicine, a world renowned integrative preventive medicine practice with elite clientele in Los Angeles. This is a project management role. You will be focused on building out a solid system for inventory and products, manage projects in Asana and other technologies, build out best practices and oversee tasks under management. This will mean creating the templates for projects, training and managing the team to bring projects to completion. You will need a background in technologies and also skills in project management and working with teams.
ResponsibilitiesYou will often work at our Santa Monica office. We need you to meet fast and hard deadlines and be able to communicate progress well. You will be designing a best practice for our project management software. You will create projects and proper templates with tasks and subtasks and help us create intuitive systems for the staff to follow. You will need to be professional in your emails and calls with the team. This internship can be great for a person who is completely dedicated and wants to be a part of something extraordinary.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, hold accountability
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule etc
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors (Asana etc)
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Very good educational background, preferably in the fields of business/project management
Proven working experience in project management
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Excellent employee-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products including Outlook experience in Asana
