Scrimmedge, Inc. seeks a Marketing, Sales, Operations, and SEO Intern to join our team for a dynamic internship opportunity. We are looking for a rising star who wants to learn how to support the marketing and sales of our services to make sure each and every one of our customers has an amazing experience.
It is an exciting time to join the Scrimmedge family, and we hope you will take the time to learn more about our internship opportunities starting with the 2015 Spring and 2015 Summer & Fall semesters and working with team in our Berwyn, Pennsylvania office.
This essential Team Member will bolster support to all departments ensuring that Scrimmedge is perceived as a viable option to improve athletes physical and mental abilities via our Virtual Sports Lessons and Video Conferencing while simultaneously increasing visibility to college coaches through our Professional Highlight Videos thus enhancing their chances of obtaining a college scholarship.

Scrimmedge, Inc produces virtual sports lessons, professional conferencing tools, video highlight and editing as well as a variety of resources for athletes to excel on and off the field.
We offer the opportunity for high school and grade school athletes to have their videos critiqued by professional coaches on our staff. Would you need an outside opinion or would simply like to improve your game, our professional coaches have over a century's experience in athletics with their combined skills.
By creating professional videoconferencing opportunities and outlining highlights professional coaches can communicate effective training regiments and ways that athletes can improve their game. Coaches can network directly with parents and the athletes themselves via the web in the comfort of their own home to help them shape their training.
The creative professionals at Scrimmedge are capable of producing the ultimate highlight tapes which can display any high school athletes greatest skills to college coaches. Getting a professional highlight film completed increases the chances of getting a scholarship and advancing further in one’s athletic career.

ResponsibilitiesJob Duties, Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
After a training period, the Scrimmedge Team Member will assist and be responsible for the following:
Content Marketing: Writing Blog Posts dependent upon blog schedule, topic and per SEO research
Search Engine Optimization: Develop and implement white hat link building strategy
Social Media: Develops and implement Social Media initiatives for all social media vehicles
Sales: Assist in the Sales Process; which includes but not limited to: curating sales leads into company pipeline, develop copy for email or written correspondence with prospective customers, Manage complete sales cycle process from identifying to closing leads, Gain familiarity with CRM Software such as Salesforce and project management software such as Basecamp
Research and Development: Develop and evaluate best practices concerning a Paid Advertising strategy
Email Marketing: Develop and bolster email list from company Blog and Facebook; set up and develop Auto Responder in services such as Aweber
Operations: Assist in daily logistics concerning coordination of On-Site Videographers, Video Editors via customer requests
Participation in weekly team calls with fellow interns and the Content Marketing team to discuss best practices and opportunities for improvements.
You must be 18 years of age or older and enrolled in a college or university
Internships require working a minimum of 20 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week
Scrimmedge does not provide for transportation reimbursement costs
Interns are not eligible for company benefits
An undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in one of the following: marketing, journalism, and multi-media communications, business, sales, video editing, SEO.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This position requires considerable time at a computer workstation for R&D, SEO, Social Media.
Some local travel and occasional distance travel to event sites may be involved.
