Foundation for a Green Future is looking for an intern who will help recruit Exhibitors for Boston GreenFest in August of 2017. The Exhibitors and businesses are a crucial part of Boston GreenFest. The internship will be unpaid but may be counted towards class credit.
Boston Greenfest is the region's largest multicultural environmental music festival that will be on August 11th-13th. Our goal is to inform EVERYONE as to the many ways green living can make a positive impact on our world, city, neighborhoods and each of us. ResponsibilitiesBe part of a team to:
Help create a strategy to bring Boston GreenFest to the attention of all 6 New England states
Help create a strategy to get the word out to Boston and Greater Boston communities
Figure out how to brand the different programs/aspects of the festival but still keeping it in tact
Help run a PR/media tent at Boston GreenFest
Expand the current media contact list
Be in touch with journalists, reporters, bloggers, radio and tv announcers - invite them to Boston GreenFest
RequirementsInterested in public relations, communications, marketing, branding
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience with google drive
Organized and able to multi-task
Dedicated and passionate about the environment
