DescriptionGlobal Sales Director of large software company seeks part-time internship in downtown Austin. This internship will be most interesting for a University business student who wants to work in a large corporation and is hungry to experiences management of corporate sales and sales operations. The internship will also provide insight into how software solutions are brought to market through partnerships.
While the internship will focus on certain tasks initially, there will be optional opportunities for mentorship and exposure to many business interactions.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work near the Global Director and be trained on how to accomplish these ongoing responsibilities:.
- Sales Forecast analysis and reporting
- Travel Expense submission for reimbursement
- “Thank You Desk” operation to show customers, partners and key employees that they are appreciated
- Account Intelligence progress and analysis
- Monthly & Quarterly digital news letter about key sales wins
- International Meeting arrangements
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be good communicator, hard working, resourceful, and be competent in Microsoft Office. Strong business writing and Excel skills will help you shine in the interview process.
6 hours weekly at downtown office. Office is high tech and modern. Hours could increase as an option. 3-6pm is the preferred time-frame for work at the office. (We have some flexibility on exact time.)
