Description

Fetch started with a question: “Who could I get to deliver _____?” Unless you wanted pizza or something shipped overnight, there were no options. There was no option to have your groceries picked up at the grocery store and delivered to your front door. There were no options for someone to go pick up your dry cleaning or any of the number of errands that have to be completed on our everyday checklist. We wanted to create a business that we wanted to exist; a business that we would use.

We are Fetch Delivery. Your personal delivery service for local restaurants, grocery stores, pet stores, dry cleaners, or just about any other personal item you might need delivered on any given day.

Fetch! caters to the delivery needs of everyone, no matter the product. Fetch’s vision is to allow customers the opportunity to spend more time with their families or more productive time at the office. Our service provided will be unmatched and coupled with outstanding quality, dependability, and added value. Fetch will strategically grow in the service market of delivery of products through talented, respected, hard-working owners, managers, and employees.

This internship is available for students seeking college credit for an unpaid position at a new start-up based out of Mid-County. Flexible hours and the ability to work from any location are features of this position. We intend to bring our interns into our regular business meetings and give them behind the scenes access to an attorney, an MBA, and to the CEO of Fetch! as we launch this delivery service in the first Quarter of 2015. Interns will be evaluated for their ability to assist Fetch! in continuing to grow after launch and unpaid positions may become paid positions at the discretion of the founders.

Responsibilities

- Utilizes social media to engage with a community of fans/followers online
- Coordinates online marketing and advertising campaigns
- Collaborates with internal departments on projects and assignments
- Demonstrates interest in social media and how media and communication strategies can continuously engage the online community

Requirements

- Provide links to 1-3 social networking profiles to demonstrate interest and knowledge
- Possesses skills in writing, presentation, interpersonal relations, and customer management
- Performs well in environment that values creativity, flexibility, and variety
- Exhibits personal qualities, such as open-mindedness, enthusiasm, and adaptability
- Prefers challenges, fast pace, new ideas, future focus, and unstructured environment
