DescriptionSpecial Operators Challenge is an athletic events management company that desires to give back to the community. Specifically, we support our Military, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, and several local non-profit organizations. We are passionate about bringing people together to positively influence our community.

There are 6 intern positions available. Each position has its own unique responsibilities and duties, though they may overlap with another position at any time. Each intern is expected to be an active part of the SOC team. Positions are listed and described under responsibilities.
ResponsibilitiesPosition 1: Online promotion of Special Operators Challenge to include social media, website facelift, submission of SOC events to racing websites, SOC search engine promotion and long term website development.
Position 2: Market SOC athletic events through development of business partnerships and sponsorships.
Position 3: Conduct research and development of products and services in support of ongoing athletic events.
Position 4: Conduct marketing analysis in order to gain competitive advantage in our field. This includes development of print, radio, and television ad campaigns.
Position 5: Develop and put in place systems to streamline daily, monthly, and annual operations.
Position 6: Accounting and bookkeeping.
RequirementsEligibility: Juniors and seniors in good academic standing.
Preferred majors: sports management; entrepreneurship; marketing; business administration; mass communications.
* Immediate -- August 2015

* All semesters available.
* Weekly hours to be determined; can vary from 15-40 as agreed.
Payment: Paid internship pay rate is in accordance with federal minimum wage regulations.
