DescriptionClass Action (www.classism.org) is a small but inspiring national non-profit that works with organizations and institutions to identify issues of class/classism (prejudice based on social class), race and class intersections and provide a framework for dismantling this often overlooked oppression. Our program work includes popular education workshops, first-generation student support groups, intersections with other oppressions, and publications about class and classism. We are a project of the Institute for Policy Studies Program on Inequality and the Common Good (www.ips-dc.org/projects/inequality-and-the-common-good/).
