Areas of interest include Charter Fishing, Hunting Outfitters, Paintball Parks, Off-road parks, camping, hiking, etc. The company’s vision is to be the best and most comprehensive Outdoor Sporting Network on the Internet. Their mission is clean and simple “At Rednecks Are Us we have one mission, that’s to help people like us, find the things we want to do”
REDZONE2 is the Mid-Atlantic licensee for Rednecks Are Us and is responsible for all marketing, sales, promotion and event management functions in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Events range from fishing tournaments, paintball events, off-roading/4wd events, to a host of other outdoor activities.

The website content manager will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence for one or more areas of interest.
ResponsibilitiesJob Description: The website content manager will be responsible for developing the voice for all aspects of the organization’s online presence for one or more areas of interest. In addition to writing, editing and proofreading site content, this person will also work closely with the technical team to maintain site standards with regard to new development. The website content manager will also be responsible for crafting site promotions, email newsletters and online outreach campaigns.
RequirementsMust have completed 1st year of study in a 4 year university degree program. Seeking degree candidates for Accounting, Business, Communications, Information technology, Management, Marketing, Hospitality and Sports Management. Will consider all Freshmen through Seniors.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills; Advanced knowledge of HTML and experience with popular content management systems (Drupal, Convio, Kintera, etc.); Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Basic Adobe Photoshop skills; Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team; Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field; and Passion, Integrity and Energy!
Prior related work experience producing content and production for high traffic websites is a major plus, but not required!
