Description

Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School seeks to fill an intern position for FALL 2014 in the Communications office.

The Web and Communications intern will assist in specific tasks related to researching and authoring news stories and content for the School’s website and other school marketing vehicles. Working with photography and videography is encouraged. The position reports directly to the Director of Communications.

Additional Information:
*This position requires a background CORI check, as you may be working with students.
*This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours.
*A paid internship is in the planning stages.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and capabilities:

• Excellent writing, proofreading and research skills;
• Strong computer skills and aptitude with Microsoft Office; Adobe creative suite a plus.
• Excellent organization and task management capability; able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision while consistently meeting deadlines;
• Interest in working in web development and/or writing for the web professionally.
