We area seeking an intern to serve as an assistant editor and producer. If you have a passion for storytelling, podcasting, and want a real hands on experience in producing a high quality podcast, then you'll be a great fit.

The position of Intern - Assistant Editor and Producer will serve as support to the chief editor/producer/host of the podcast. This position will have primary accountability for the following tasks:
- Provide transcription for raw interview content.
- Assist in editing of interview content.
- Mix episodes.
- Assist in writing ads.
- Other duties as assigned.

This position will be able to work remotely.
This position is part time - roughly 10 hours/week
This position is unpaid

Responsibilities

Here's how the work will go:

After recording an interview the host will email you the raw tape. You will then transcribe the tape and send the transcription back to the host with time-stamps and your input on edits. The host will then make final edits to the transcript and return the annotated transcription back to you. You will then edit the tape as indicated in the transcription notes and send the final edit back to the host. The host will then add narration and scoring. If you have mixing experience, the host will send you the final version back to be mixed.

If you have writing experience you may be able to manage posting the content, writing show descriptions, and managing social media accounts.

You will be an integral member of the team in getting the show produced in a timely manner and syndicated nationally to a very dedicated audience.

Requirements

- Experience in audio editing and recording software
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent command of English language
- Must be responsive to email
- Social Media and Marketing Experience
- Must be self motivated and results oriented
- Desire to tell amazing stories and transform the healthcare industry

WOULD LOVE TO HAVE:
- Mixing experience
- Scoring experience
- Social media/marketing experience

Skills
