Description

Evidence-based toxicology Collaboration at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring together the international toxicology/safety community to facilitate the use of evidence-based decision making regarding safety of industrial chemicals, environmental pollutants, food ingredients and medicines to ensure public health, healthy environment and sustainable future. We need an energetic creative motivated individual to help design and execute our social media messaging, optimize the web site, newsletter formats etc. The person can work remotely. I am located in Boston, so Boston area location is preferred for periodic face to face meetings.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the web site, put content into MailChimp template, explore Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook for communication, assist with meeting planning and coordinating online and tele-conferences with stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience with building and maintainiing web sites, sending and formatting newsletters (specific software packages of particular interest: Site Executive, iPages, MailChimp, but deminstrated ability to quickly come up the speed with learning these is desired). Note that if other tools that allow more efficient communication are available, there will be an opportunity to test and use them.
