Internships for Communications/Marketing Students

The Communications/Marketing Interns (2) will assist the Madison House Autism Foundation with projects and tasks to promote various fundraising initiatives, public relations activities, and other operational duties that help the organization achieve its goals.
College student or a recent graduate
Interest in marketing, public relations, non-profit management, and fundraising
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Google Drive is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written skills
Experience with Wordpress is a plus
Experience with social media is a plus
Interns will have the following duties:
Assist in writing a multitude of projects
Assist in developing social media content (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.)
Garner users to follow/like for MHAF
Establish presence on LinkedIn and begin engaging influencers
Assist with special events
Reports to Director of Digital Media
Interns will gain experience working on projects that directly impact Madison House Autism Foundation’s mission. Additionally, interns will gain new skills through exposure to various development and communications activities.
Internships are un-paid or through work-study. Interns will work at least 12 hours per week from August-December 2016.
This internship can not be completed remotely/electronically.
