Description

Seeking an intern for the Institute for Public Accuracy -- Accuracy.org. We're a non-profit organization that increases the reach of progressive and grassroots organizations by getting them and their ideas into the mainstream media. Our team puts together news releases each day covering the most pressing issues of that news cycle. Our releases source experts whose voices are typically excluded from corporate-backed discourse. We send these releases to thousands of working journalists and attempt to give voice to our experts' views.

Interns are a crucial part of our team. We provide our interns with a monthly stipend that will cover costs of transportation and lunch.

-Contacting relevant experts
-Compiling news releases
-Editing and publishing releases
-Fielding press inquiries
-Managing our webpage and social media presence
-Collecting and editing blog posts from our contributors
-Performing basic administrative tasks
