DescriptionNomad Pass is an early stage startup with the mission of enabling people to live, work and travel from anywhere around the world. We believe millennials are reshaping the economy and re-writing the future of travel, and no longer need stationary 9-5 jobs. As the global sharing economy expands, the job market changes, and access to technology increases, we see the rise in digital nomads and location independent workers. As major cities around the globe start to offer similar amenities, people are starting to realize they don't need to stay in one place. They can build their career remotely and succeed from the road.
Nomad Pass is seeking a Community Coordinator responsible for connecting and engaging with our physical and online community of travelers and remote workers. You will be working directly with the founding team on this exciting project and will become our biggest advocate within different social networks and potential partners, boosting awareness around what we do. This opportunity has the potential of turning into a full-time paid position.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be involved with the founders in:
Advocating our brand on all social networks by creating your own social persona and inspiring others on our project
Networking with community members and identifying Community Champions
Engaging with our physical community by organizing local events and meetups
Engaging with our online community by joining new conversations, chats and groups
Monitoring current discussions, responding in a timely fashion and ensuring relevant responders are “nudged” to respond
Building visibility and credibility by attending online chats and local events
Researching opportunities to connect with new people
Blogging on external sites
Analyzing social network efforts driving the most traffic
Connecting with potential early adopters and boosting awareness for the company with the goal of growing the overall brand
Recruiting potential country scouts around the world to organize meetups and assisting with the development of our ambassador program

RequirementsWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and comfortable with getting his/her hands dirty in the work of launching a startup—we need someone who is proactive, autonomous and hungry to learn and grow.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Excellent communication skills and natural networker who enjoys working with a variety of people
Strong ability to inspire others
Strong interpersonal skills and good multi-tasker
Proven previous social media and community management experience
Familiarity with community management strategies a plus
Good organization skills and ability to succeed under pressure/time constraints
Have a deep passion for travelling and entrepreneurship
Interest/ Experience in the Travel Industry
Full-time internship preferred but flexible on part-time and remote work
