Description

This position is for accountable, autonomous and results-driven professionals who would like to attain real world experience as a marketing professional leveraging public relations and social media. Your job will be to support the marketing manager’s efforts (create content, tracking & analytics, media outreach). Our areas of focus include social media, public relations, blogging, online advertising, website optimization and content creation. We do all this while serving underrepresented communities. CCG provides training to strengthen your skills sets. 

ACADEMIC COURSE CREDIT AVAILABLE. 

Additional Specifications 
• Weekly time commitment: 10-15 hours. 
• This position is UNPAID. 
• For students, academic course credit is available. 
• This is a blended on-site/online position. You must be available for client meetings and weekly trainings with CCG staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated marketing services to small and medium businesses and/or nonprofits whose mission best aligns with your values. You are the account executive for your client and you will work directly with them. 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required. 
• You will create an integrated marketing plan and then execute approved strategies to increase the client's brand awareness. 

Requirements

• Looking for: JUNIORS OR SENIORS in college, GRADUATE STUDENTS, or RECENT GRADUATES ONLY with majors in Public Relations, Media Relations, Integrated Marketing, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related fields. 
• Proficient in using social media for business or nonprofits. 
• Committed & strong writers, researchers and creative thinkers. 
• Ability to analyze data and create traffic reports for various clients is preferred. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. 
• A motivated self-starter, creative thinker and has the desire to learn. 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
