DescriptionThis Lifestyle Editor internship will give the chosen student real world experience of what it’s really working for an online bridal magazine. From contacting various Public Relations firms to build brand contacts, to helping to coordinate events and photo shoots this position will act as a key individual in helping build the JBB online blog.
Responsibilities-Responsible for 2 articles per week
-Will ensure that articles are submitted in a timely fashion
-Attend events on behalf of JBB, including NY Fashion Week and NY Bridal Fashion Week.
-Try and review various products sent to the company for promotional reasons
-Attend bi-weekly team meetings.
-Work with the JBB Editor to plan out the fashion calendar for 60 days in advance.
-Utilize contacts at various PR companies and individual businesses for features on the blog
-Pair with JBB Fashion Editor to plan upcoming editorial photo shoots and look book videos
-Some travel to New York require (will be company paid)
RequirementsStrong writing and editing skills
Work on a WordPress platform
