Description

I host a new podcast, America Adapts - The Climate Change Podcast, (www.americaadapts.org) where I talk with experts from across the country and we discuss how we can adapt to climate change. My guests have included experts from World Wildlife Fund, Wildlife Conservation Society, Filmmakers for Conservation, reporters, and more. It's a relatively new podcast and I'm looking to grow brand of the podcast and the number of listeners. I'm looking for an unpaid intern to help with this marketing. My background is in conservation and climate change. This would be an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work on a topic that's socially good, podcasts are an emerging media area and you would get exposure to the best and brightest working on climate change issues. Also, it would highly emphasize social media, an ever increasingly important skill to take into your job. And the benefit of this internship, is if you're effective, there would be all sorts of metrics (listeners gained, increased download, brand awareness) you could point to at the end of the internship and I give a KILLER recommendation. I'm a start up, so not an established company, but I think the nature of my topic works to your advantage on your resume.
