DescriptionOH!PEN is an Italian/America indigent Production Company founded in 2012 to provide a framework – present in Los Angeles, New York and Rome, Italy – for some of the finest professionals in the film industry to foster and support brilliant storytellers. Our commitment is to match creative talent with technical standards of the highest caliber to deliver compelling, innovative products for a global audience. We specialize in executive production services across genres, including feature films, shorts, documentaries, commercials and web-series.
We primarily collaborate with a critically acclaimed writer, who has been recognized and celebrated as the “Italian writer of the decade”. We are currently working on a film feature. Additionally, we represent social causes through an Italian based Foundation.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a part-time position (15-20 hours/week) which requires you to meet regularly in Laguna Beach, CA, and work from home. You will require a computer, cell phone, skype technology, and a reliable vehicle.
You will assist with the following activities:
Advanced social media skills (daily maintenance and new creative)
Strong writing/verbal skills
Web site editing and new creative
Create video clips
Researching and fact check stories
Film viewing, uploading, and film analysis
Promoting current projects
Production scheduling and budgeting
RequirementsYou must be passionate, creative and organized (and deadline orientated), have a sharp eye for detail, exhibit a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, be responsible and dependable, and above all multitask, trustworthy and honest. You should be articulate in interpersonal communication in writing, in person and on the phone. We are looking for an incredibly proactive and eager person to troubleshoot problems before and as they occur. Be unafraid to ask for clarification or help on tasks.
You should be enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a degree in film, production, communication, entertainment or literature. A passion for films and a high literacy in film elements and literature is critical to your success.
