Description

THR33FOLD invites college juniors and seniors to apply for our public relations internship. During the semester-long internship, interns will be introduced, in a very hands-on way, to the everyday business of a strategic public relations team. Interns will gain experience building media lists, writing for public relations, research skills, and general agency experience. The public relations intern will also have the opportunity to work with our social media team.

THR33FOLD interns can expect to leave with valuable pieces to add to their portfolio. Outstanding interns may translate into full-time positions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Media Relations Strategist to develop and deliver client-specific results
Write press releases, pitches, media alerts, etc.
Target and pitch relevant media
Measure and monitor results
Update and build media/influencer lists
Writing for corporate external communications
Engage with influencers via client social media accounts
Write blogs for clients as well as THR33FOLD

Requirements

-Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills – must be a very strong writer with versatility
-Detail-oriented with strong research skills
-Ability to work well with others and independently as needed
-Positive attitude with an emphasis on self-motivation, initiative, integrity and desire to deliver quality work
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office
-Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in
-Communication, Public Relations, Journalism or related
-Prior internships preferred
