American Academy of Family Physicians National Research Network (AAFP NRN) is looking for an intern with experience in designing systems, developing user interfaces, and designing relational databases to help further develop an interactive database in Access

The AAFP NRN is a voluntary research association of physicians who collaborate on research studies that help advance and improve upon the science of family medicine. Additional information about the activities and mission of the AAFP NRN can be found on our website www.aafp.org/nrn.

Responsibilities

Technically assist AAFP NRN staff to further develop an interactive Access database for the daily use in tracking and managing information on our members, projects, collaborative investigators, and IRB reviews.

Requirements

- Experience in designing systems, developing user interfaces, and designing relational databases.
- Knowledge of research protocols is helpful, but not required.
- Ideally would be pursuing a degree related to the field of bioinformatics or database design, and would benefit academically from the experience.
