Requirements

(Graduates in May 2014!)
Experience with large databases (terabyte +) a plus
Understanding of the SQL Server database engine works, including but not limited to: Physical storage, indexing, physical database design best practices, and the Query Optimizer a plus.
Database security best practices
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services design, development, and deployment
Problem solving and ensuring standards and best practices
Understanding of SQL Server internals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to concisely describe complex activities in writing
Detail oriented, with exemplary analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable with multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities and meeting project deadlines.
Currently working towards a BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred
Understanding of server-client computing and relational database environments
Understanding of data management and data processing
Technical documentation skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
