Descriptionff Venture Capital (ffvc.com), an early-stage venture capital fund based in midtown Manhattan, is seeking Computer Science/Engineering interns. This is an ideal position for a developer who is interested in learning more about venture capital and entrepreneurship/startups. We are looking primarily for students who can commit to at least a minimum 30 in office hours/week. Your hours are flexible.
ResponsibilitiesYou will have ownership of your own projects and manage these projects from start to finish during the course of your internship.
+ Interact and learn from venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and others.
+ Interact and connect with great growing startups.
+ Get to know the New York startup community.
+ Class credit (if you have a professor who approves your participation, and/or if you can recycle this work for a class)
+ Significant creative input and flexibility.
+ Very positive references (if merited).
+ Work directly underneath our Director of Engineering, help build both internal and external products and tools.
+ Passion about our vision.
+ Highly motivated self-starter who has a track record of continuous self-improvement, high achievement, and aggressiveness.
+ High attention to detail.
+ GPA over 3.5
