- Work tasks to completion, informing management about any issues far before agreed upon deadlines.
- Work amiably in a team environment.
- Arrive to work on time and be willing to work extra hours to meet milestones.
- Work independently with very little supervision after there is a clear understanding of duties, assuming all questions have been answered and concerns addressed.
- Think outside the box and be confident enough to respectfully object to the ideas and solutions of others, providing evidence that other approaches may be better.
- Possess self-motivation with an assertive attitude and able to quickly adapt to new applications and technologies.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

- Assist team with developing Windows Desktop applications using Visual Studio, C#, and .Net Framework.
- Conduct research to learn about technologies associated with assigned projects.
- Perform comprehensive testing using industry best practices to weed out bugs.
- Create documentation, such as logic flowcharts, UML diagrams, and etc.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Occasionally assist with some infrastructure related activities and desktop support around the office.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
------------------------------------
- 1-2 years of .NET software engineering experience through professional or academic work.
- Experience coding Windows applications or services in C#.
- Familiar with .NET framework namespaces and classes.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.

------------------------------------
Ideal Qualifications (Not required, but preferred)
------------------------------------
- Microsoft application development related certifications.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Familiarity with Microsoft infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Familiar with C++.
- Experience with XML or JSON.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or any popular RDBMS.
- Experience with VMWare technologies (e.g., vSphere, Workstations)
- Familiar with Microsoft scripting technologies (e.g,. batch, vbscript, PowerShell).

Skills

Required - .NET, C#, Microsoft Office
Preferred - C++, HTML/XML, JSON, VMware, MS SQL, Active Directory, Group Policy
