Description

The New York Code + Design Academy (NYCDA) has been teaching web development to professionals in New York City since 2012 and in Philadelphia and Amsterdam since 2015. We are looking to hire part-time coding instructors for our programming classes for kids and teens within our Generation Code Initiative.

The Generation Code Initiative aims to bring computer science, specifically coding, to all lower, middle and high schools nationwide.

Teaching schedules are flexible and range from after-school programs to during the day electives in order to get kids and teens the STEM skills their parents demand!

Responsible for teaching curriculum to K-12 students ranging from 8-17 years old. Class size varies between 10-25 students and compensation covers prep time, feedback on students and coordinating with partnership. Great part-time position for students who are looking to teach onsite at different locations in New York. Schedule ranges between 2-6 hours per week and we are flexible with scheduling.
